About Newlands Community House Foodbank

Newlands Community House is a volunteer-run organisation supporting families across Newlands, Woodridge, Paparangi, and Grenada Village. Alongside community meals, classes, and social programmes, their foodbank supports around 25 families each week, and up to 220 people in busier months. Meat is one of the most expensive items to provide, and often the hardest to access. Supplying venison helps deliver a nutritious, high-quality protein to households doing it tough, while supporting a community built on connection, compassion and support.
